Atletico Madrid Sign Felipe Monteiro From Porto

Atletico Madrid have made Felipe Monteiro their most expensive defensive signing in team history.

Atleti paid Porto over $22 million for the center back.

Monteiro is expected to replace Diego Godin in Diego Simeone's backline.

Dortmund Officially Sign Julian Brandt

Borussia Dortmund have officially signed Julian Brandt from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 23-year-old had a release clause of just under $28 million.

Brandt finished the season with 10 goals and 17 assists in all competitions for Leverkusen.

Timbers Sign Brian Fernandez For Club-Record Fee

The Portland Timbers broke a club-record in signing Brian Fernandez from Necaxa.

The 24-year-old Argentine has scored 12 goals in 15 games in the current Clausura.

Manager Gio Savarese said Fernandez will add versatility to their attack. 

"We are very pleased to welcome Brian Fernandez to our team. Brian is a player who possesses many different attacking qualities that can cause issues for the opposition. He has shown the ability to unlock defenses and score goals in a variety of ways throughout his career, and, while we view him as a forward with our immediate group, his versatility and ability to play in different positions and systems gives us further tactical flexibility and options."

Van de Beek currently has a $67 million valuation.
